Douglas
K. Weigel
Douglas K. Weigel has been a civil trial lawyer since 1996. He
is a partner with Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer, P.S. and has been
with the firm since 1999.
Doug's practice emphasizes the representation of developers, general
contractors, and subcontractors for construction site claims, including
defect, property damage, design liability, personal injury, and
fire investigation. Doug's practice also includes representation
of insurance agents, brokers, and other professionals for malpractice
claims in both administrative proceedings and litigation.
Doug represents clients insured by Travelers, Alaska National, Arch,
One Beacon, Liberty Mutual Group, North Pacific, Utica National,
Atlantic Mutual, Zurich and AIG. He is a member of the state and
federal courts of Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, and a member of
the Defense Research Institute, Washington State Bar Association,
King County Bar Association, and Washington Defense Trial Lawyers
Association.
Doug graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with majors
in Environmental Science and Foreign Affairs, and the University
of Oregon School of Law in 1995.
Doug is an avid runner, cyclist, and hiker and enjoys spending his
spare time exploring Whidbey Island with his family.
