A. Troy Hunter

A. Troy Hunter has been a civil trial lawyer in Washington since 1999. He is a partner with the law firm of Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer, P.S. as of January 2007 and has been with the firm since early 2004.

Troy 's practice emphasizes the defense of insureds and self-insureds from claims of personal injury (including wrongful death) in the areas of commercial liability, premises liability, and product liability. Troy also has extensive experience in the areas of employment/labor law and defense of health care practitioners from claims of medical malpractice.

Prior to answering the call to practice law, Troy 's vocations ranged from professional photographer to death scene investigator for the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. Troy graduated from the University of Washington in 1995 with honors in Sociology, and from the University of Washington School of Law in 1999 where he attained honors on the Moot Court Honor Board, and was admitted into the National Order of Barristers for outstanding skills in trial advocacy.

He is a member of all state and federal courts in Washington, as well as the American, Washington and King County Bar Associations.

An avid fan of cinema, Troy spends his free time writing screenplays. He enjoys tennis, golf and kayaking and always welcomes a challenging game of chess or backgammon.
