Tyler
J. Hermsen
Tyler J. Hermsen joined Floyd, Pflueger &
Ringer as an associate in May 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he
worked as a law clerk for the Skagit County Superior Court in Mount
Vernon.
Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of
Law where he focused on commercial law and trial advocacy. Tyler
also attended Johannes Kepler Universitat in Linz, Austria during
the summer following his first year, studying international commercial
arbitration throughout Eastern Europe.
Tyler is a proud alumnus of the University of Washington, receiving
a B.A. in economics and a minor in earth and space sciences, graduating
with honors in 2004. In 2003 he was elected as president of the
Interfraternity Council, representing the member fraternities to
UW administration and leadership, local governments and national
organizations. Tyler was appointed to the Homecoming Court for 2004
and initiated into the Tolo chapter of the Mortar Board National
Collegiate Honor Society.
Tyler is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and King
County Bar Association.
Tyler is a lifelong Seattle resident, and an avid fan of the Huskies,
Seahawks, Mariners and Sounders. When he’s not watching or
attending games, Tyler enjoys golfing and traveling.
